Betty Lou “Lulu’ Haller, age 68 of Monaca, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh surrounded by her loving family.
Born on September 17, 1948, a daughter of the late John and Helen Mottes. Betty was a member of the SOI, American Legion Auxillary and Turners all in Monaca. For many years she operated the Monaca Little League refreshment stand. Betty enjoyed bar bingo, rides with her husband and especially spending time with her granddaughters.
Betty is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dennis W. Haller; her children; Brent (Jodi) Haller, Todd (Johnna) Haller all of Monaca, grandchildren; Brooke Haller and Payton Haller who were the lights of her life; her sister; Nancy (Danny) Casper, Sister-in-law Debi Mottes, Brother-In-Law Bruce Honaker, Brother-In-Laws George (Bobbi) Haller, Jimmy (Rose) Haller, and Greg Haller, Sister-In-Laws Margie (Chunny) Haller and Judy Haller. She is also survived by numerouse nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by a son Dennis John Haller, her in-laws George and Lorraine Haller, a brother John Mottes, and three sisters Judi Honaker, Helen Tuma, and Sally Sherman.
Friends will be received on Thursday, June 15 from 2:00-8:00 pm at Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Beaver Cemetery.
A special thanks for the great care received from the staff of Heritage Valley, Beaver; Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness Center and especially the nurses on Grove 1; and UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
