Edmund C. ‘Butch’ Kroskey, Sr., 76, of Monaca passed away on Sunday January 28, 2018 in Good Samaritan Hospice Beaver. He was the son of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Toth) Kroskey.
Butch was a graduate of Aliquippa High School. After high school he got a job with J&L Steel and later with Kwik Fill and then Hussey Copper. He was also the owner of LA Fish Restaurant in the Beaver Valley Mall. Butch was an avid beer can collector who belonged to the following Chapters: ABC, BCCA, Olde Frothingslosh and also the Beer Can Collectors Association.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Patricia (Fisher) Kroskey, his children, Kim (Patrick) Nicoles of Conway, Edmund Kroskey, Jr. of Monaca, grandchildren; Lexie, Brianna, and Jacob Kroskey, four brothers in law, Charles Bedekovich, Lewis ‘Peanut’ Johnston, George Dudas, Thomas McKimm, four sisters in law, Joanne Kroskey, Ferne McKimm, Flo Calafactor, Ernestine Kroskey and his two kitties, Lucky and Bootsie.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Robert, William and Thomas Kroskey, a sister Patricia Bedekovich, and a sister in law Peggy Dudas
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2:00 until time of service at 4:00 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca.
