John Yablinsky, 88, of Monaca, passed away Thursday morning, November 19, 2015, at Good Samaritan at Heritage Valley Beaver.Born November 22, 1926, in Nanty Glo, PA, he was the youngest and last surviving child of the late John and Victoria (Bartuski) Yablinsky. After serving in the US Army during World War II in Japan, John found employment at Teledyne Vasco in Monaca, retiring after 33 years of service. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and a former member of American Legion Post 580 and Veterans of Foreign Wars, all in Monaca.He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Eleanor R. (Malloy) Yablinsky; his two sons, Joseph Yablinsky of East Liverpool, OH and Jeff Yablinsky of Monaca; two grandsons, Paul and Michael Yablinsky of New Brighton; his loving canine companions, Abby and Dakota, and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by six brothers, Frank, Edward, Joseph Paul, Henry, Charles and Felix Yablinsky and a sister, Helen Cromer.Friends will be received Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, where a blessing service will be held Monday at 10 a.m.Interment will follow Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.To share online condolences, get directions and other information, please visit simpsonfuneralhome.com.
