Michael D. ‘Libbi’ Liberatore, 55 of Monaca passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at his home. His passing was unexpected.Born March 5, 1962. He was a son of the late Arnold “ Aggie” and Lillian J. Witterman Liberatore.Libbi was employed for the majority of his life at Datatel in Monaca as a press operator.An avid Steelers fan, Libbi was a longtime season ticket holder and enjoyed tailgating before the games with family and friends. He was a member of numerous clubs in Monaca where he regularly frequented. He was a member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Monaca where he was baptized. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.He leaves two brothers and a sister, Arnold J. Liberatore and his wife, Linda and Robert Liberatore and his wife, Joan, all of Monaca. A sister, Lori Smith and her husband, Kevin of Center Township. A nephew and two nieces: Mark (Jennifer) Liberatore, Tracy (Brad) Shields and Cara Smith. Four great nieces and great nephews, Christian, Andrew, Zachary and Hannah. Numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends including very special cousin, Marla Liberatore.Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-8 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, PA and on Monday from 9 am until 9:30 am prior to processing to the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 819 Washington Ave., Monaca for a service at 10 am with Reverend Angela Smith, officiating.
