A. Margaret Moran Rambo

A. Margaret (Moran) Rambo, 99, of Center Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at her residence.Born August 1, 1915, in Fairmont, WV, she was the last surviving child of the late Charles E. and Fannie (VanGilder) Moran.  Margaret was the wife of the late William A. Rambo who preceded her in death on December 31, 1992.  She was employed for 20 years at Rochester Hospital and The Medical Center, Dietary Department before retiring.  A longtime member of the Sylvan Crest Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, Margaret was also involved with the Girl Scouts in Center Township when her daughters were young.  She was a faithful member of Monacrest Free Methodist Church.She will be sadly missed by her four children, William A. Rambo III and his wife, Kathy, of Jacksonville, FL, Verna Fay Milne and her husband, David, of Center Township, Anna Lynn Owen and her husband, Stanley, of Niles, OH and Cheryl Leah Bickerstaff and her husband, Charles, of Mooresville, NC; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild and a daughter-in-law, Karen (the late Garry M.) Rambo of Monaca.In addition to her husband and parents, Margaret was preceded in death by a son, Garry M. Rambo, four grandchildren and four siblings, Atlee, Walter, Stella and Sarah.Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca.  Friends will also be received on Monday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. at Monacrest Free Methodist Church, corner of South Walnut Street and Elmira Street, Monaca. The service will be officiated by the Rev. John Westurn  assisted by the Rev. Doug Rabe.Margaret will be laid to rest next to her husband in Mt.
