Her death was due to a tragic natural accident while on a camping trip with her church group in the Allegheny National Forest.Born July 23, 1999, in Ellwood City, she was a daughter of Michael J. Turner of Beaver Falls and Brandine L. Fehir Turner of New Brighton. An honor student, Alexis would have been a junior at Beaver Falls High School in the fall. So beloved by her family she was a strong, beautiful and intelligent girl, who enjoyed being with her friends, going camping and playing softball and was known for her extensive shoe collection. Her love of French fries led her to have the motto, \”Fries before Guys”. Alexis was excited about starting her new job with D&G Pizza in Beaver Falls. In addition to her parents Alexis will be sadly missed by her four brothers, Michael J. Turner, Jr., Brenden L. Turner, Todd Allen Turner and Bryce A. Turner; three half-siblings, Kamiya Turner, Keyan Turner and Kamillia Turner; her maternal grandmother, Marilyn Fehir of Conway, paternal great-grandparents, John Henry Sr. and Ann Turner, numerous aunts and uncles, a host of cousins and tons of friends.She was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Robert E. Fehir, and paternal grandparents, John Henry Jr. and Deborah K. Turner.Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca where a prayer service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. by Pastor Jared Bellan. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 1103 Eight Avenue, Beaver Falls, with Rev. Bobby V. I did not know Lexi personally but through all accounts she presented herself as a child of God with a loving compassionate heart that hungered after God's will. Although the sorrow is dominating your hearts, they will also burst with pride for the young woman your lovely daughter was. My daughter Mariko was in the tent with Alexis that morning during the tragedy. They were singing songs as they hurried to try to leave the area, however she witnessed Alexis leave this world to be forever in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am so glad my daughter got to know yours, even though it was for too short a time, but we will all be reunited in Heaven some day. Although you will grieve for a long time and cry until you can't cry any more, remember to put your trust in Jesus to get you through, and rest in the knowledge the Alexis is watching over you and will wait for you while in His loving, mighty arms. I am so sorry for your loss. You are in our prayers for God's comfort to go down deep in your hearts. We had a son go Home with the Lord at a beloved Christian camp and so we have a tiny taste of how you feel. Please call me or my husband who is a pastor at any time if you want to talk. Our son, Nate, is an upcoming junior at BCCS and knows Brenden. We will keep Brenden in our prayers, as well as you all. Grieving with Hope,~Blanche
