I remember meeting you about two years ago. You were one of the funniest girls and lively people I have ever met. You always had a smile on your face and we all loved you for it. Ad soon as my mom opened the letter and said your name I knew who you were. Then I came to the website and it became all to real. I will miss you dearly and I send your family all the love one could possibly send. I will miss you Lex, but as least God has yet another angel with him looking down at us all.

((((Dearest Brandine & family))))), There is no greater agony in this life than needing to say good-bye to a child. Your strength of faith is remarkable and it is because of your relationship with Christ that will enable you all to reunite with your beautiful daughter in a little while. I did not know Lexi personally but through all accounts she presented herself as a child of God with a loving compassionate heart that hungered after God's will. Although the sorrow is dominating your hearts, they will also burst with pride for the young woman your lovely daughter was. It is clearly evident that she was deeply loved by so many people; therefore, her legacy will be great. How many hearts were softened through Lexi's walk with Christ? We will likely never know her complete impact upon this world but I am certain it is far reaching and will extend far beyond this temporary pause. Please know that you and your family are in my deepest and most earnest prayers as you take the next step to move forward until you all meet again. I will hold you in my heart and allow thoughts of you and your family to dominate my thoughts. I pray God's love and comfort to surround you as he wipes the tears from your eyes. All my love, Tina

"Someday I will leave this earthly dwelling,Through time and space my soul will soar,And finally see the face of Jesus, And praise that name forever." from "That Name" by Yolanda AdamsWe can't express the sorrow we feel for your family. My daughter Mariko was in the tent with Alexis that morning during the tragedy. They were singing songs as they hurried to try to leave the area, however she witnessed Alexis leave this world to be forever in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am so glad my daughter got to know yours, even though it was for too short a time, but we will all be reunited in Heaven some day. Although you will grieve for a long time and cry until you can't cry any more, remember to put your trust in Jesus to get you through, and rest in the knowledge the Alexis is watching over you and will wait for you while in His loving, mighty arms. We don't know you personally but we love you all the same and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers in the weeks and months to come. Hopefully, Alexis will meet our son Joshua, who is also in heaven now. We lost him as a baby, but we have an idea of what you are going through. It may not seem like it now, but God will comfort and eventually heal your spirit. Just allow Him to.Love Mark, Lenora (Peaches), Mariko and Marky Price

Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. May God be with you in this very tough time. May you find comfort in knowing that He is ever present and close to you. Words could never possibly heal your pain, but to know that you are thought of and being prayed for brings comfort to your broken hearts. God is the mender of broken hearts so I pray that you will draw near to Him even in this time of disbelief and a lack of understanding as to why this happened to your baby girl. I don't have the answers, but I do have a God that loves and cares. Go ahead and cry and grieve, but don't grieve as one who has no hope. We know that Alexis is with the Lord, so let us hold on to the hope of our seeing her again someday. May the peace of God be rest and abide with you. My prayers are with you.Rev. Millie Johnson

There are no words that will ease your heartache or change the outcome of this past week. Unexplainable tragedies are just that, unexplainable; there is no blame to share. The circle of love that is family and friends is waiting for you. They will welcome you into their arms 24/7. Don't be shy; they want to help and they want to be helped by sharing this loss with you. I pray our Heavenly Father will comfort you and that His promises will bring you some peace in the difficult days to come.

My heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends and all who were touched by this beautiful young lady. I do not know you, but I have spent the last couple of days grieving and in tears over this tragedy. I don't know why these things happen to young people who are so full of hope and promise, but I do know that God knows the beginning and the end and for whatever reason, He welcomed this sweet soul back into Heaven, far too soon for anyone else to understand. Please know that she is safe and in eternal joy and that you will be reunited with her again. Prayers for God's comfort to help you through.

I am one of the fire fighters that brought your daughter from the woods. Her journey was soft. I was the first to lift her, and the last to set her down. I made sure that your little girl was treated as I hope mine will be some day. As I rode out of the woods I recited for your daughter both The Lords Prayer, and Blakes Tyger. She was shown as much love as anyone could ask. My thoughts are with her family and friends....And when the stars throw down their spears, and water heaven with their tears. Did he smile, his work to see? Did he who made the lamb make thee?Tyger Tyger burning bright, in the forests of the night. What immortal hand, or eye dare frame thy fearful symmetry?Patrick McGinnis
