Andrea T. Torres

Andrea T. Torres, 88, of Midland, was reunited with her parents on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 surrounded by her loving sisters and brother.Born on November 28, 1929 in Midland, Andrea was a daughter of Jose and Irene Torres.  She was a member of St. Blaise Catholic Church, and a Christian Mother.Andrea is survived by five siblings; Louise Torres, Cecelia ‘Cookie’ Torres, Julia Maloney, Eleanor (Stanley) Olash, Jessie ‘Chewy’ (Patty) Torres.  She will also be missed by her adoring nieces and nephews who knew her as ‘Aunt LaLa’.She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Ernest ‘Tony’, Roselio, Jose, Hank, Richard ‘Tito’, sisters; Irene Trevino and Sara Mireles.Friends will be received at St. Blaise Catholic Church, Midland, on Thursday at 9:30 am until the time of a Memorial Mass at 10:30 am.  Father Michael Yaksick will be the celebrant.  A luncheon will follow at the Parish Lyceum Hall.  Private inurnment will take place in Beaver Cemetery.The family would like to thank Life-Beaver for their care and concern for many years.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, Monaca.To share online condolences, get directions and other information, please visit simpsonfuneralhome.com.
