Teresa and the Giant Eagle pharmacy technicians left a message on January 23, 2008:
Stauffer family, I am speaking for all of the technicians at the Rochester Giant Eagle pharmacy. We loved your father. He was such a kind gentleman. Our condolences go out to each of you. My pastor once told me the greatest gift you can give your children is a strong marriage. Your father spoke of your mother so often and so full of love that I believe that had to be such a wonderful gift they gave you all. When the other techs and I arrived at work Tuesday morning and started talking about your father, we all said the same thing, when we first heard we felt so sad and then realized, He's in a better place with the love of his life". Please know he is already missed by us also. Our prayers are with you all.

The Stauffer family, I know that you do not know my daughter and I, but we both give our sympathy to loss of your loved one. We live by the cemetary in which Mr. Stauffer frequently visited. Over the past year every time we would drive by we would see him standing by his loved ones grave. It really touched my daughter to see him there every day, whether he was watering his flowers or sitting in his minivan. Every time she would see him,she would say there,s our guy! She wanted to stop at times but I didn't think it would be appropriate. My family even got to know who we were talking about when we would mention we saw him. When I was visiting my grandparents site I drove by to see his last name, thats how I knew of his death. My daughter was deeply saddened by his death. We will still look for him when we drive by, and we will also say a prayer. Again our sympathy is with you and your family. Mary Klaas, and Jamey Klaas
Jane Mattes left a message on January 23, 2008:
Dear Nanette and Arlette, My heart felt sympathy to you and your family. My memories of your parents extends back to the days when our children were small. Off to the roller rink we would go and so often we'd see your parents. I so enjoyed watching your Mom and Dad gracefully gliding across the floor. You are in my prayers. Jane & Michael Mattes

I have only known Andy for a year thru the Monaca Turners. I must say what a great man. I learned alot about his black smithing days in J@L and he was a pleasure to chat with. My sincere condolences to the family. God Bless you all.
