Ann H. Moldovan, 90, of Monaca, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014.Born September 28, 1923, in Monaca, she was the last surviving child of the late Thomas and Anna Moldovan. A homemaker, Ann always found time to share her love with all her nieces and nephews, whom she referred to as her ‘children’. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Monaca, where she helped with chicken dinners many years ago. Ann also enjoyed knitting and loved reading. She will be sadly missed by a sister-in-law, Jean Moldovan, of Monaca; a cousin, Ted Moldovan; two nephews, George (Brenda) Moldovan of Potter Twp. and their two daughters, Kelly Moldovan, and her children, Alexis and Hunter, in Florida and Jen Moldovan of Rochester, and Thomas (Maria Elena) Moldovan in Texas and his two children, Thomas Moldovan, Jr. and the late P.J. Moldovan; a niece, Nancy McBride (Bob) of Economy and her two children, Ashley (Mike) Miksch, of Baden and their daughter, Anna, and Ben (Emily) McBride, and their son, Aiden, of Scott Twp.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas and George.Friends will be received Thursday, May 15th, from 5 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca. Her pastor, Rev.
