Ann Taylor, age 84 passed into eternal sleep on December 7, 2022. Her Christian belief was through God’s forgiveness and mercy, she was granted Salvation and awoke in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven.
Ann was the last surviving of six children of Joseph and Elsie Bellock of Monaca. She graduated from Monaca High School in 1956 and was employed for many years for orthopedic doctors in Beaver. She was a past member of the Baptist Church in Columbiana, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Taylor, Jr. in 2009, after 33 years of marriage, three brothers, Joseph Bellock, William E. Bellock, & John Bellock and two sisters Mary C. (Bellock) Cook, and Rose Marie (Bellock) Hineman, and also by Joseph Figley, the father of their four children.
Surviving are children JoAnn Kim (Figley) Svoboda, Duluth, MN, Joseph D. Figley, Monaca, Christopher J. Figley, Ambridge, and Rosemary A. (Figley) Kelly, Dayton, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Kelly, Katie, Isabelle, Christopher, Lucas, Annie and Robert, and thirteen great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, and special friends at Edgecombe Apartments, Monaca.
Per Ann’s request there will be no visitation. She will be buried beside her husband, Jim in Union Cemetery, Monaca. Arrangements are being handled by G. Marc Iddings of Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, in Monaca.
