Ann M. (Novoselac) Vular, 87, of Monaca, passed away early Saturday morning, June 28, 2014.Born March 11, 1927, in Aliquippa, she was the daughter of the late James and Barbara Novoselac. United in marriage to William Vular, they would have celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on September 6th of this year. They made their home in Monaca and together they raised four children. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Monaca, the Croatian Fraternal Union, Aliquippa Croatian Center and Croatian Club of New Brighton. A homemaker who was well-known for her baking and cooking skills, Ann will be sadly missed by her family and friends whom she greatly cherished.In addition to her husband, Ann leaves her four children, Nick Vular and his wife Denise, Patty Vular, Kathy Huddy and Michele Kuga and her husband John; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Ratkovich; a brother-in-law, Matt Vular; a sister-in-law, Elsie Vular and numerous nieces and nephews.Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings, Zora, Steve, John, Diane and James.Friends will be received Monday, June 30th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, where parting prayers will be offered Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca. Ann’s nephew, Rev. Fr.
