Anna E. Myers, 74, of Center Twp., passed into peace on Saturday, May 1, 2010.
Born in Rochester on May 12, 1935, to parents, John and Anna Bacha, she grew up in Center Twp. where she met her husband, Richard Myers. During their 59 years of marriage, they raised two sons, Ronald Myers and Richard (Mary) Myers and two daughters, Valerie (Walt) Myers and Mary (Monte) Andrews. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Jacob Andrews, Jennifer (Emmett) Baker, Jamie Myers and Veronica, Kevin and Richard J. Myers; two great-grandchildren, Evan and Annsley Baker. She is survived by two brothers, John (Linda) Bacha and Robert (Eileen) Bacha; a sister, Kathy (Ross) Merante and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her oldest son, Ron Myers and a sister, Mary Ann Yenchko.
Anna had worked several years at Friendship Ridge and Snowy White Cleaners. She enjoyed playing bingo and bowling with her husband with the Friday night mixed league at Center Lanes where she had many friends.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 4th, from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 8 p.m. at the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca. The Rev. Father John L. McKenna, pastor of St John the Baptist Catholic Church will officiate.
