With all the things that have happened with Ma (Yvonne) and her battle in the hospital, it kind of overshadowed the fact that her beautiful sister Annette, passed away the other day from complications of Leukemia! Ma hasn't been told about it yet and we are keeping it that way until she has recovered from being critically ill. Annette (my aunt), was a quiet, warmhearted woman who loved to read! She dealt with a lot of hardship in her life when her husband died at sea. She was left to raise 5 girls (my cousins), all by herself! She lived on Montauk Avenue in New London for many years until she moved to Texas, Florida and finally Pennsylvania. I always knew her to be a quiet and gentle soul, with a kind heart! She will be missed and looked upon fondly by all of us! Our deepest condolences go out to her family and especially to my cousins; Charlene Berg, Cindy Scarpa, Eileen Gibson, Anita Ash and Lorraine M Munger! We're keeping you in our prayers!
