Annette S. Nicolosi, 83, passed away peacefully in Pennsylvania on Monday, October 13, 2014. Annette lived in New London, Connecticut, for most of her life where she raised her five daughters.She lived for a few years in Tomball, Texas, and Ocala, Florida. In 2012 she moved to New Brighton, Pennsylvania, to live with her daughter and family.Annette was born in Stonington, Connecticut, on August 24, 1931, the daughter of Alfred Poirier and Severina (St. John) Poirier. She was married in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in 1953 to Albert Nicolosi who preceded her in death in 1963. Annette was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir for many years.Annette is survived by two of her three sisters, Irene Poirier of Ocala, Florida, and Yvonne White of Ocala, Florida; her five daughters, Charlene Berg of New Brighton, Pennsylvania, Lorraine Munger of Niantic Connecticut, Cynthia Scarpa of Quaker Hill, Connecticut, Anita Ash of Groton, Connecticut, and Eileen Gibson of Jewett City, Connecticut; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She will be lovingly missed by her family.A funeral service will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in New London, Connecticut, on Monday, October 20th, at 11:00 a.m. with a service immediately following at St. Mary’s Cemetery in New London, Connecticut.
