Anthony D. DeSalle, 91, of Patterson Township, was reunited with his late wife, Ruth on Monday, August 7, 2017.Raised in Beaver Falls, he was a son of the late Carmen and Genevieve DeSalle. Anthony was united in marriage on April 4, 1959 to Ruth Ann Tuffie who proceeded him in death on October 29, 2001.In 1944, Tony enlisted into the US Navy and served abroad during World War II. Following the war, Anthony returned to his former employment at Babcock &Wilcox where he remained for 43 years. He was a lifetime member of the Beaver Falls American Legion Post. Anthony was a devout member of Central United Methodist Church for over 50 years serving as a lay minister, chaired numerous committees and sang in the choir. He also volunteered as a chaplain at Heritage Valley, Beaver and Beaver Valley Health & Rehab Center. .Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ruth Ann, a brother \”Bill\” DeSalle, and two sisters, Loretta DeSalle, and Janice Seletas. He was also preceded by his in-laws, John and Sophie Tuffie; a brother-in-law, John Tuffie, Jr. and a niece, Trysha Roberts.He is survived by his children; Debbie (Michael) Martino, Richard (Nicola) DeSalle, and Kathy (James) Wilson, a sister, Betty Yargo, two brothers; David (Cathy) DeSalle, and Ronald (Sandra) DeSalle, grandchildren; Michael Martino, Carla (Matthew) Maurer, Stephanie (Keith) Tanner, Tammy (Dean) Brown, Eric (Jennifer) Wilson, Sherrie (Matthew) Bennett,numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Friends will be received on Friday, August 11th from 1:00 – 6:00 pm in the Central United Methodist Church, 1227 6th Avenue, Beaver Falls. Followed by a Church service at 6:00 pm with Reverend Jan Davis officiating.
