I remember Tony's father, Buddy. He was a very good friend of my older brother Frank. We all grew up together. My mother and father owned and opperated Monaca Home Baking Company on Pennsylvania Avenue in Monaca. I was delighted to visit the vinyl record store that was reborn in the same location as the bakery all those years after the bakery's closing. My husband, younger brother and I visited the store and introduced ourselves to the owner, who turned out to be Tony, buddy's son, several months ago. We were delighted to find this out. We spoke about this dad and of growing up in the neighborhood. Our sincere condolences to his family and to his Aunt Shirley, whom I remember as being a lovely person. Lorie And Tom Annarella

The loss of this genuinely great man hurts but Heaven gained such a great one yesterday. Tony was my hero and I will miss him forever. He was the brother I never had and I’m thankful God chose me to be his little cousin. Love to you Aunt Judi, Mike, Tony, Adam, and the rest of our family as we hold each other close to make sense of all this. God bless his sweet, funny, and genuine soul.

Even though I haven't seen Tony in a long time, the news of his passing hurts. I have such fond memories of listening to the stereo and playing bumper pool in the little game room in the basement. He introduced me to some great music and every time I hear those songs, i think of him. Rest in peace my friend.
