Antoinette Marie Jennings

Antoinette Marie Jennings passed away peacefully on April 3, 2019 to be with the Lord and her Family.She was a resident of Victoria Manor in Oakdale for the past three years and was cared for by the most wonderful people.Ann was born on January 7, 1931 and was a life-long resident of Monaca where she migrated from Italy with her family at the age of seven.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Jennings, her parents Benedetto and Elvira Morgera, her brother Salvatore Morgera, her sister Mary Waina, her mother and father in law, Wilma and Raymond Jennings, and her brother in law Douglas Jennings.Ann is survived by three sisters in law, Janet (Roland) Dory, Carol (Bill) Yoho and Linda (Alex) Angeli, (all from Florida), a brother in law, Albert Waina of Monaca, a life-long best friend, Stella Lorenz of Monaca and her caregiver and niece JoAnn McMurray of Oakdale.Ann was a life-long member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Monaca and the former Catholic Daughters of America.  She worked her entire adult life at Westinghouse in Vanport.  Ann loved shopping, beautiful clothes, gambling, going to the Opera, vacationing in Atlantic City and children.  Even though she never had children of her own, she always said upon meeting a child that they were as cute as Christmas!Friends will be received on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, PA.
