Antoinette “Toni” (Karczewski) Olshanski, 70 of Monaca, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 after an extended illness.
Born in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jeanne Karczewski. Toni was a 1967 graduate of Beaver Falls High School where she was a cheerleader through high school and attended Beaver Falls Beauty Academy. Her favorite pastimes were vacationing especially to the beach and visiting Mountaineer Racetrack.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 41 years, Edward, her children; Carla (Patrick) Roach, Amy Olshanski Graves, Eddie Olshanski, and Adam (Ashley) Olshanski, grandchildren; Sydney and Meghan Roach, Colin (Cheyenne) Slappy, Jaden Parham, and Kamryn Graves, one great grandson, Eli Joseph Slappy, a sister, Roberta “Bobbie” Polachek, several brothers in law and sisters in law and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Richard Karczewski.
Friends will be received on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, where prayers will be offered on Saturday at 9:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
