Arnold R. Temple, 77, of Darlington, was taken home by Jesus on Monday evening, December 23, 2013. His passing occurred at Friendship Ridge.
Born January 28, 1936, in Center Township, he was a son of the late Paul E. and Edna F.Temple. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Janet, on December 7, 2011, and a brother, Eugene.
Arnold retired from Cardello Lighting in New Brighton. A member and former deacon of Steffin Hill United Presbyterian Church, Beaver Falls, he loved camping and vacationing with relatives in Canada. In his leisure time Arnold enjoyed woodworking, crafting and collecting model trains.
He will be sadly missed by a sister, Beverly (the late Robert L.) Kampian of Center Township and her family, Robert P. Kampian and Michelle A. Kampian; a sister-in-law, Susan West, her husband, Rich, and their family, Jennifer L. McGinnis, Julie Ann Tillon and Richard James West; several great-nieces and great-nephews; cousins, Ron and Pat Winters, and two special friends, Jera Rose and Leonard Miller, who he has known since first grade.
Per the family?s request, there was no visitation. Arrangements are under the care of Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca.
The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Friendship Ridge for the exceptional care given to Arnold and a special note of gratitude to his pastor, Rev. Judy Angleberger.
