Audrey Jean Genova

Audrey Jean (Akers) Genova, 84 died swiftly on February 8, 2018 at Heritage Valley, Beaver.She was born on January 18, 1934 in New Castle, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of the late Frances (Sutton) and Kenchen Akers.  Audrey was a devoted wife of 66 years to Phillip Genova of Darlington, PA and a loving mother of six children who still always had time for family and friends.  She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.She is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Julia Rose Genova, a son, David Frank Genova, a brother, Rollie Akers and her parents.Audrey is survived by her husband, daughter, Laura Orlando of New Castle, son Michael (Kellie) Genova of Darlington, daughter, Sharon (John) Zerbe of Zelienople, son Paul (Norma) Genova of Darlington, son, Doug (Paula) Genova of Munroe Falls, OH, many grandchildren, and one great-grandson, Vincent Genova.  Audrey’s wish is, that in lieu of a memorial service, time be spent with a loved one.Arrangements entrusted to Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca.
