Barbara F. (Cichoski) Savage, 66, of Ambridge, was reunited with her husband, Richard, on Thursday, June 13, 2013. Her passing occurred at home with her loving family beside her.
Born May 6, 1947, in Sewickley, she was a daughter of Nellie R. Cichoski and the late Leon A. Cichoski. Along with her father, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Savage on August 9, 1996. She was a member of St. Stephen?s Episcopal Church in Sewickley, where she taught Sunday school for many years. Barbara loved going on vacations and attending picnics and parks with her family. She enjoyed working puzzles and playing bingo.
She will be sadly missed by her three children, Daniel Savage and his wife, Deanne, of Ambridge, Scott Savage and his wife, Debi, of Hopewell Township and Brian Savage of Ambridge; grandchildren, Michael, Nicholas, Patrick, Ian, Shawn Patrick, Madison and Dylan; great-grandson, Anthony Charles; two sisters, Janice (Joseph) Relich of Center Township and Teresa (Joseph) Quinn in Ohio; a brother, Leon (Debra) Cichoski of Industry and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. Her pastor, William T. Henry, will conduct the service.
Interment will follow in John Anderson Cemetery in Raccoon Township.
