Betty \”Grandma Betty\” Moldovan, of Independence Township, born December 18, 1918, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 20, 2008.
She was a daughter of the late George and Bertha Huzinec of Ellwood City, PA. Betty retired from Gimbel’s of Pittsburgh and spent her remaining days living and assisting her daughter, Pat Hodge, with her business, Pat’s Pooch Parlor.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Alex Dudick and Rome Moldovan; two sisters, Julia and Marie, and three brothers, George, John, and Charles.
Surviving are her loving children, Pat Hodge, of Independence Township, and Ronald Dudick and his wife Debbie, of Dallas, TX. She was also the proud \”Grandma Betty\” of seven grandchildren, Scott Hodge, Tammy Johns, Ronald Dudick, Jr., Karen Mattice, Robbin McLaughlin, Melissa Connoly and Laura Dudick. She also blessed this world with 17 great-grand-children and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sister, Annie, and two brothers, Steve and Frank, all of Ellwood City. She also leaves behind a true companion and friend of ten years, Kisser Dog. Betty was loved and treasured and will be greatly missed. She truly defined the meaning of a LADY and gave us much to smile about.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
