Bobby Joe Bradley (B.J.) – Daugherty Township, was born September 22, 1931 in Flat River, MO to Edward and Roma (Dalton) Bradley. B.J. passed peacefully at his home on July 30, 2022 after a courageous 10-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
B.J. retired from Arco chemical in Channel View, TX and then opened his own successful business in the petrochemical industry, BRADCO.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, a life member of the VFW, past Exaulted Ruler of the BPOE, Baytown, TX, Lodge 1221, served as a member of the Crosby Area School Board, Crosby, TX and was a member of the Crosby Methodist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Dorothy Craig Bradley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Cynthia and Bentley and a grandson, James Bouknight, brothers Donald, Edward and Gerald Bradley and sisters, Helen Owens and Jean Huff.
Also surviving are his daughter, Pamela Jewell, Crosby, TX, grandson, Jeffrey (Carrie) Bradley, Loveland, CO., granddaughter, Rebecca (Michael) Sims, Crosby, TX, stepdaughters, Erin (Tony) Pityk, Cranberry Twp., PA and Rebecca (Jim) Burget, Rochester, PA and grandchildren, Ryan, Justin, Rowan, Ashley and Evan and great grandchildren, Ashley, Johnathon, Christian, Thea and Otto and several nieces and nephews.
B.J. was a hard-working man, dedicated to his family and will be deeply missed by those who loved him. Rest in Peace, Papa.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the Three Oaks Hospice for the loving and compassionate care that they gave to B.J. and extreme thanks to Joanne, Rachel and Rose, his awesome care team.
Per B.J.’s request, he will be cremated with a private service, held at a later date.
