Bonnie Sanders, 75 of Monaca, Pennsylvania completed her long battle with Alzheimer’s disease on January 9, 2021.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents, Art and Marian Wolf, her in laws, Robert and Edith Sanders, Aunt Florence and Uncle Bill, as well as several beloved pets.
Bonnie loved her “Midland Leopards” and raising her daughters. She retired as a bank teller from the former Century National Bank. She was happiest when shopping, traveling or just sitting on a beach with a book.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband of 54 years, Jerry. Her children, Terri and Allen Vaccarelli and Traci and Chris Kennedy. A sister in brother in law, Patti and Mike Rebich, as well as her grandchildren, Tori (Sam) Wittmer, Haylee (Michael) Sutter, Rylee, Vaccarelli, Nate (Sydney) Kennedy and Zak Kennedy. She had six beautiful great grandchildren that she treasured: Keelan, Jaelen, Dexter, Granger, Tucker and Brenlynn. Her current pets, Ghost and Gigi will miss her a lot. Bonnie was truly a kind soul, who battled Alzheimer’s just as she lived; with grace, dignity and just a touch of sass.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 10 am until 2 pm in Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca. A private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bonnie’s memory to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Center Township, PA 15001.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cambridge Pointe (formerly Trinity Oaks) and Mother Theresa Hospice for the loving care they provided Bonnie.
