Celia V. Demarco, 92, formerly of Center Township, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Elmcroft of Chippewa.Born on August 26, 1926 in Monaca, she was the daughter of the late John and Domicella (Mroziak) Vancovish. She enjoyed cooking and baking but family was the most important to her. Celia was very proud of her Polish heritage and was a former member of the Polish Falcons and the Polish National Alliance, both of Monaca and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca and a Christian Mother.In addition to her parents and siblings, Celia was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Demarco on August 17, 2011.Celia is survived by her children; John ‘Jack’ Demarco, Jr. of Center Township, Thomas M. (Toni) Demarco of Center Township, and Carol (Edward M.) Powers of Columbus, Ohio, her beloved grandchildren; Jessica T. (Vince) Franceschelli of Canfield, Ohio, Thomas M. Demarco, Jr. of Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, Edward J. Powers and Cole R. Powers both of Columbus, Ohio, two adored great grandchildren; Alana Celia and Carina Maria Franceschelli of Canfield, Ohio, and a special niece, Marian L.
