My mom, Gail (Dorsey) was a very close friend of Charlene. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was such a sweet person and I always enjoyed visiting her with my mom and brother. Mom loved her like a sister.

My heartfelt condolences to the Kercovich family. I was a classmate of Charlene's. I last saw her in our graduating year of 1969, but recognized her name as soon as I read it. I remember her as a quiet, pretty, kind young lady. My hope for you is that many happy memories of Charlene flood your minds in the coming days. May God's peace be with you in this difficult time.

To the Kercovich family:You will not know me because Charlene was the only family member I knew. We were classmates at Freedom. I met Charlene in our Junior year. I never had much interaction with her but the few times we interacted, I had the impression of a quiet, unassuming, kind young lady, very bright, possibly with a number of talents she didn't flaunt. For the past few years, I've been checking the obits in the Beaver County Times and when I saw Charlene's on Memorial Day, I was at first shocked and then brokenhearted. I had hoped to see her again some day if only to catch up on the nearly fifty years since I saw her last.I think it's especially sad that only a single message of condolence has been posted to the Simpson website; particularly that there are none from former classmates - who, of course may not know of her passing. So I thought I'd take the opportunity to post my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to all of you and let you know that at least one of her former classmates remembers her and won't forget her.Ray VugrinovichHaslett, [email protected]
