Charles D. Burd, 81, of Monaca, left this earth early Monday morning, September 1, 2014. He had been a resident of Friendship Ridge for nine years.Born July 9, 1933, in Clinton, he was a son of the late Marshall and Marie McMillan Burd. Charles was retired from LTV Aliquippa Works where he was a foreman in the bi-products department. He was a former member of Monaca-Center Lodge #791, F. & A.M.Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Nancy E. (Dhayer) Burd; two daughters, Amanda (Tim) Yosten of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Patti (Greg) Hurley of Monaca; three sons, Donald (Anna Liesa) Burd of Buhlenberg, Germany, Deron Burd of Ft.
