It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of the treasured daughter, wife, mother, and friend Cynthia M. “Cindy” Davidson. Born in Rochester, PA on September 15, 1953, she positively affected the lives of everyone she encountered until her untimely departure this past Sunday, October 29, 2017.Cindy is lovingly remembered by her parents Dorothy and Russel Measel; husband William; sons Kevin, Josh, and Greg; and daughters-in-law Gail Davidson and Autumn Saccomen; as well as her extended family and many friends.Cindy is a graduate of Robert Morris University, and spent most of her professional life as co-owner and office manager of Davidson Appliances in Center Twp. But she will mostly be remembered for her invincible enthusiasm and positivity in the face of adversity. She loved nothing more than the joy of a new experience and the challenge of a new goal. In the words of Marvin Gaye, “Ain’t no mountain high, ain’t no valley low, ain’t no river wide enough…”.Visitation will be held at Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, PA on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 2-4pm and from 6-7:30pm followed by a prayer service at 7:30.  Interment in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.Special thank you to Cindy’s card club friends who were always there to support her during her illness.To share online condolences, get directions and other information, please visit simpsonfuneralhome.com.
