Cynthia “Cindy” Fronk, 63, of Industry, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2023 surrounded by her loving family after a hard fought battle with leukemia.
Cindy was born to William and Genevieve Ozanick in McKees Rocks. After graduating from Langley High School in 1977, she went on to study nursing at the Sewickley School of Nursing (RN) and La Roche College (BSN).
After graduation, she landed her first job as a labor and delivery nurse at Ohio Valley General Hospital, kicking off a 40 year career and lifelong love of Nursing. Her kindness and compassion left a mark on all of her patients and coworkers and a lasting impression at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital where she finished her career as an Administrator on Duty (AOD).
In 2006, Cindy met Perri Fronk, and they were united in marriage in 2010.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents William and Genevieve Ozanick. She will be eternally remembered by her husband, Perri; children from her first marriage, Robert and his wife Molly Meyers of New York City, Jenna and her husband Michael Macioce of Wexford, and Joshua and his wife Natalie Meyers and granddaughter Stasiya of Ambridge. She also leaves to mourn her loss, two brothers, William (Cathy Luick) Ozanick and Richard (Diane) Ozanick; three step-daughters, Erin (Alex) Sebastian, Lauren (Dakota) Unwin, Isabelle (Marty) Verett and seven step-grandchildren, Julia and Alexander Sebastian, Penelope and Josephine Unwin, Layla and Charlie Verett, and Shaun Bold, and numerous nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters in-law.
Friends will be received Friday from 1-9pm at Simpson Funeral and Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave. Monaca, PA. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30am at Our Lady of the Valley Parish-Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Beaver PA. Mass will be celebrated by her brother-in-law Father Christopher S. Fronk SJ and Father Robert Miller. Interment will follow in Beaver Cemetery.
