David I. Ruby left a message on April 21, 2008:
Sue and I wish to express our condolences to Uncle Jack and Cousin Scott. I know you are never ready for a death in the family, but we do know that Danny is with our Father in Heaven and all is well. We spent some time with Danny last year during a visit to the valley, while we visited Sue's father. We talked about old times, the Steelers and how the valley has changed, but also remains the same, very friendly, courteous and warm. Your family has been included in our prayers and will continue to be. Love, Dave and Sue Ruby

Verna, Kathleen, Scott, Dan's family and friends: Jan and I were deeply sadden by the news of Danny's passing. Throughout the years he was a great friend. As our casualty insurance broker, he was always well informed and exceptionally helpful. He will be missed by many, not only in Aliquippa and throughout the County and region but mostly by those of you, his family, with whom he was closest. May God bless Danny and keep his memory alive.
