Danny L. Mountain

Danny L. Mountain, 62 of Center Township, formerly of Hookstown passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital surrounded by his loving family.Born on August 17, 1956 he was the son of Clara (Roupe) Mountain of Hookstown and the late Cloyd “Moe” Mountain.  Danny was a graduate of South Side High School and later of Rosedale Technical School for auto diesel mechanic.  Danny loved spending time with family and particularly his grandchildren.Danny will be sadly missed by his Wife of 36 years, Delores Mountain, two daughters; Brandy and Melanie Mountain, a son Dan Mountain, two grandchildren whom he adored and who were the light of his life; Robbie and Brianna Krepps, a brother, Bryan (Lynette) Mountain, two sisters; Bonnie (Ron) Crile, and Nina (Keith) Graham, several nieces and nephews, and his canine companion, Angel.He was preceded in death by his father, Cloyd William Mountain, a brother Eddy Mountain in 1979, and a sister in law, Kathy Mountain in 2011.Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, where services will be held on Saturday at 1PM with Pastor Michael Bailey, officiating.Entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.To share online condolences, get directions and other information, please visit simpsonfuneralhome.com.
