On Sunday, September 11, 2022 David E. Cottrill unexpectedly passed away at Heritage Valley Beaver Medical Center surrounded by his loving family to be with his Lord and Savior. A former resident of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, David returned to Beaver County to be closer to his family.
David was born on July 11, 1960 in Aliquippa, PA to Shirley and Lawrence Cottrill. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Kathy Cottrill (Barron) and brother Richard Cottrill.
He is survived by his brother Larry Cottrill wife Carmen, Monaca, PA; sister Deborah Jackson husband Darrell, Elgin, TX; two daughters, Joanie Cottrill, Olean, NY. Jessica Cottrill, Pittsburgh, PA; three sons, David Cottrill Jr., Kinsman, OH, Nicholas Cottrill and Christopher Cottrill, Beaver Falls, PA; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and great-nieces, great-nephews and several close friends.
Friends will be received on Thursday, Sept 15th from 4 pm until 7 pm at Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave. Monaca where services will follow at 7 pm.
