David William Caplinger, 29 of New Galilee was taken away from us way too soon on April 16, 2022.
Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, he was the son of David Lee Caplinger of Ohioville and the late Deborah (Ackerman) Caplinger. David grew up in Center Township and was a graduate of Central Valley High School, the Beaver County Career Technical Center and Clarion University where he earned an Associates Degree in Industrial Technologies. While living in Center Township, David was a dedicated member of the Center Township Vol. Fire Department, Station #37. He was an avid gamer who loved his super heroes, watching movies, baking, camping, spending time around a bonfire, assembling Legos, and collecting knives and dragons. He also enjoyed taking his dog, Zoey for car rides and spoiling his nieces and nephew. He was employed at Tenaris Koppel Tubulars.
He leaves behind his father and step mother, David Lee and Naomi Caplinger. Sisters: Melissa (David) Rizor, Pamela (Jim Hoffman) Caplinger and Erica (Pat) Patterson. A brother, Jermey Caplinger. David’s girlfriend and the love of his life, Eleanor Whittier. His paternal grandparents, Shirley and the late Ira Caplinger. His maternal grandparents, Barbara (Dale) Allen and the late Alfred Ackerman. A nephew, Zandar (Faith Adams) Soliz and three nieces, Rylee Soliz, Mckenzie Rizor and Ava Patterson. Great nieces: Vayda and Mylah. His dog, Zoey and several loving aunts, uncles and many cousins.
Friends will be received on Friday, April 22nd from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with service to immediately follow at SIMPSON FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, PA. 724-728-4000
In lieu of flowers the family has requested a donation be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA. 15001 due to David’s love of animals.
