Dawn Elizabeth DeLucca, 59 of Beaver Falls, formerly Dawn Elizabeth Schmidt of Center Township, died peacefully at home on Sunday morning, August 4, 2019 surrounded by family.

Born November 17, 1959 in Rome, New York, Dawn was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister,  and grandmother.  A graduate of Center High School, Dawn was a Navy wife, the toughest job in the Navy.  Adored by all that knew her, she will be deeply and sadly missed.

She is survived by her husband Carl DeLucca of Beaver Falls, her father, Richard Schmidt of Beaver, her sons, Richard Scarpone of Rochester and Brandon Scarpone currently serving in the U.S. Navy in Hawaii, stepsons, Carl and Nicholas DeLucca, three grandchildren; Kylie Scarpone, Maddox and Abriana DeLucca, her brothers; Gregory and Martin Schmidt of Monaca, and her sister, Amy  Schmidt-Peters of Monaca, and a special niece Serena McClure & several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Schmidt and a son, Brian Scarpone, and a sister, Heidi Fesperman.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca followed by a blessing service on Thursday at 11:00 am.
