Debra E. States, 63 of Aliquippa passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley, Beaver due to complications of a stroke.Born on February 10, 1955 she was the daughter of the late Frank A. Lucci, Sr. and Ruby V. (Liller) Cole.Debra had a passion for children and child care. Over the years she served in several different child care capacities as residential care, a child advocate (wraparound) and recently as a foster parent for the Beaver County Children and Youth Services. Debra also previously served as the music director for the former New Life Christian Center in Beaver Falls.In addition to her father, she was preceded in death her husband, David A. States on February 19, 2008 and her grandson, Isaac Cross. Her mother, Ruby V. Cole who passed away on the same day as Debra, October 16, 2018.Debra leaves her daughters, Sheila Heberling, Amanda Cross, Robin (Michael) Cassidy and Peggy (the late Randy) Winterrowd, She also leaves her step father, Jerry Cole and her grandchildren, Hannah Cross, Ashley Winterrowd and Tyler Cassidy. Two brothers, Frank (Sally) Lucci, Jr. and Richard (Phyllis) Lucci.Friends will be received on Friday, October 19^th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca where a service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am with Pastor Doug Dragan officiating.  Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Monaca.The family requests that donations be made to the family c/o the funeral home.To share online condolences, get directions and other information, please visit simpsonfuneralhome.com.
