Don Jay Lynch, Jr., 40 of Monaca, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014.
Born April 22, 1973, in Rochester, he was the son of Don Jay Sr. and Denise M. (Pietrandrea) Lynch, of Monaca. A graduate of Monaca High School, Class of 1991, Donnie started his career at King?s Family Restaurant at age 16, and was promoted to manager at the age of 20 and has continued to serve in that capacity in various locations throughout southwest PA. A passionate Pirates fan, he rooted for the Steelers and enjoyed playing his guitar. In his leisure time he could be found fishing with his boys and his dad or in the woods hunting. Donnie was a member of Monaca United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents he will be sadly missed by his five children, Andrew, Riley, Bradley, Zachary and Gregory; a sister, Alisa Lynch; a niece, Chloe Lynch, along with many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. His pastor, Rev. David Vaughn, will officiate.
Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Monaca.
