Donald “Buck” L. Smith

Donald L. ‘Buck’ Smith, 93 formerly of Hookstown passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Concordia Villa St Joseph, Baden.
Born in Monaca, Don was a son of the late Lewis and Harriet (Haller) Smith. A veteran of the U S Air Force, Don spent over 20 years serving his country in the military. Following his discharge from the service, he gained employment with Crucible Steel in Midland from where he retired. Buck was an outdoors man, avid hunter and loved to fish. He was a life member of The Riflemen’s Association.
He leaves two sisters Hattie Gitts and June Stalnecker and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Buck was preceded in death by his siblings: James R Smith, Charles Smith, George Smith and Evelyn Wojnarowski.
In accordance with his wishes, all services will be private.
Cremation arrangements are under the care of Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, Monaca.
