Dorma Lee (Clark) McHattie, 72 of Monaca, formerly of Harmony Township, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.Born on August 21, 1945 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Stephen C. and Wanda Lou (Miller) Clark.She was a 1963 graduate of New Castle High School. Dorma enjoyed crocheting, crafting, embroidering, doing calligraphy, was very patriotic, and spending time and having fun with her grandchildren. She was formerly employed as a Beaver County Times hometown news correspondent and as a magazine and card merchandiser for Hallmark & American Greeting in Beaver County.Dorma is a member of the Baden United Methodist Church and a former member of Harmony Township Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.Dorma is survived by her husband of 54 years, Kenneth M. McHattie, two children: Kenneth S. (Lori) McHattie of Marysville, Ohio and Daniel W. (Samantha) McHattie of Center Township, three sisters; Rita (Jim) Marshall, and Saundra Spinelli both of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Loretta (Ron) McCoy of Economy, four grandchildren; Connor, Sage, Heath, and Kara, and several nieces and nephews.Friends will be received on Monday, June 25 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:30 pm in the Simpson Funeral and Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca followed by a funeral service on Tuesday with the Doctor Reverend Richard Herbster officiating.
