Dorothy M. Heberling

Dorothy M. Heberling, 96, of Monaca went home to be with the Lord on July 28, 2023.

Born on December 12, 1926 in Punxsutawney, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Veronica (Lellock) Firment. She was a retired employee of Jackson’s Shoe Store and a member of Mary, Queen of Saints Parish (St. John the Baptist Catholic Church), Monaca.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Paul Vukas, granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Beth and Chris Brett, grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Sean and Nicki Vukas, great-granddaughter Claire Brett, great-granddaughter and great grandson, Madison and Bryce Vukas. Three brothers and sisters-in-law: George Firment, Andrew and Ruth Firment, Edward and Judy Firment, one sister, Colleen Buck and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Edward Heberling, two brothers, John Firment and William Firment.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, 724 728 4000. A service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to a charity of your choice.

Dottie will be remembered for her wisdom, patience and kindness to others and as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Everyone who knew her saw her gentle spirit. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
