Dorothy M. Measel

Dorothy (Noyh) Measel, 91, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Dorothy was born March 9, 1931 in Monaca, PA to John and Edna (Kocienda) Noyh.

She is survived by 3 grandsons: Kevin of Monaca, Josh of Monaca and Greg (Gail) of Hopewell Twp.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Russel, her brother John Edward Noye, and her only child, Cindy (Measel) Davidson.

Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She worked for Michael Baker Engineering Group for 59 ½ years as an Accounts Payable Supervisor and was a devoted member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. She was known for her stuffed cabbage, lasagna and enjoyed bingo and playing slots at Mountaineer Casino.

Visiting services will be Sunday, January 8th, 2023 from 1-5pm at SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, January 10th, 2023 at Mary, Queen of Saints parish, St Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 115 Trinity Drive, Aliquippa. (Please meet at the church).Interment will follow in St John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Monaca.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Dorothy’s name to St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
