The man of a thousand stories. Sitting at camp by the fire and hearing stories every year was usually the highlight of the weekend. You'll be missed Doug, thanks for all of the memories.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Doug. We both grew up in Center Twp. and were classmates throughout our school years. I moved to Washington, D.C. at age twenty and then to Florida. I often thought of Doug but have not seen him in over fifty years. May God bless his soul, offer him a place in Heaven, and send comfort to his family.
Planning ahead is prudent. Call us now.

So sorry to see this doesn’t seem real. Uncle Doug you will be missed. You were loved by all. I loved the phone call I received from you a couple days prior. You were wanting me to go pick you up a farm tractor for camp, you never stopped trying to do stuff and get stuff done even know you weren’t in the best of health. Great man. So you know I would of done anything for you guys! Love you
