Ernest L. “Ernie” Biagianti, 83, a lifelong resident of Freedom went Home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 11, 2018.Ernie was a son of the late Domenic P and Josephine F (Tomaine) Biagianti. An avid reader, he also enjoyed watching a variety of television shows. He was a retiree of the maintenance department  of Freedom Area Schools.He leaves a daughter, Linda Jaskiewicz and her husband, Timothy of Chippewa and  a granddaughter, Macy. He also leaves three sisters and a brother: Mary Bea Pieta and Rose Ann Froehly both of Freedom, Donna Wright and her husband, Bob of Wheeling, W.V., and Joseph Biagianti and his wife, Katherine of Sanford, FLA. Several nieces and nephews and a good friend, Andy Wiltrout.In addition to his parents, Ernie was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria P. Diklich and his beloved German Shephard, Ginger.Friends will be received on Sunday, October 14^th from 3 – 7 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, where prayers will be offered on Monday at 9:15 am followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 am in St. Felix Catholic Church, Freedom, Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Freedom.The family would like to thank the staff of Providence Care Center for the compassionate care Ernie received during his stay for the past three months.Memorial contributions may be made, if desired to the memorial fund of St Felix Catholic Church, 450 13^th Street, Freedom ,PA, 15042.To share online condolences, get directions and other information, please visit simpsonfuneralhome.com.
