Evan Z. Pierce

Evan Z. Pierce, 32 of Moon Township, formerly of Monaca passed away, Friday, January 26, 2018.Born July 9, 1985, Evan was a son of J. Scott Pierce II and Trish (Jeffrey) Michel.Following graduation from Monaca High School, Evan entered the construction trades, first being employed with Laborers Union #1058, Heavy Highway and later starting his own business, Pierce Construction Company. Evan was baptized in St John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca and was currently a member of St Andrew Lutheran Church, Moon Township.Evan leaves his wife, Chris Ann (Howell) Pierce  and children, Jacob Howell, Addison Pierce and Callie Rae Pierce. His father, J. Scott Pierce and his mother and step father, Trish and Jeffrey Michel.  He also leaves a brother, Ryan (Kylee) Bosco and their children, Ethan, Tyler and Zachary and a sister, Lauren Pierce and her son, Kellan.  His paternal grandmother, Shirley Pierce; his maternal grandparents, Carolyn and Patrick Bosco and Evan’s Aunt Sarah; his father in law, Kevin Howell and mother in law, Kim Howell; close cousins, Lucas and Chad Borghi, a sister in law, Jessica Kester and her daughter, Iylee as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.Evan was preceded in death by a son, Aidan Z. Pierce, his paternal grandfather J. Scott Pierce, his maternal great grandparents, Catherine and John Goss, his Aunt Ann-Renee Borghi and Uncle Patrick Bosco, Jr., Aunt Mary Jane Harcher and cousin, Janine Kelker,Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 30 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca where an evening  prayer service will be held at 8 pm officiated by Reverend Larry Mort, pastor of St Andrew Lutheran Church, Moon Twp. Parting prayers will be offered on Wednesday at 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 am in St John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca.
