It is with profound sorrow the family announces the passing of Faith Everly of Clinton, on February 6, 2023. She was 74.
Faith was born in Rochester, PA, on December 4, 1948, the daughter of Harry and Martha Stobart. She grew up in Beaver County and attended Center Township schools. Upon graduating from Center high school, Faith started working as a waitress, notably at Perkins where she met her future husband Robert. She ended her career after many years as a banquet server at the Sheraton Hotel (former Clarion-Royce) in Moon Township.
Faith met the love of her life, Robert Everly, and the two married on April 18, 1980. Bob and Faith were a match made in Heaven, sharing a unique love that was the envy of everyone who met them. A day had not gone by since his sudden passing just over a year ago, where Faith did not say how much she wanted to be reunited with him, missing him so dearly.
To her family and friends, Faith was known for being a loving, attentive and supportive soul, always helping those in their moment of need, or simply craving her fantastic listening skills. She was loved by all who knew her, and was an instant made friend to many she would meet and talk to spontaneously. She loved her family deeply, was a wonderfully loving and protective grandmother, and was simply and beautifully kind to everyone she met.
Faith enjoyed social time and playing fun games with family and friends. Most of all, she loved spending time and traveling with her husband, whom she could not live without. Being the loving wife she was, God carried her home in his loving arms to reunite them both in Heaven.
Faith leaves behind to mourn her in this life her beloved sisters and family, Mary (Vern) Bernard and Evelyn (Jack) Smith, Donald Karaisz, Gary Hineman, Mary Ann Stobart and Lucy (Bill) Heuring; her sister-in-law Kathy (Mike) Collins. Her son Christian Everly and his wife Mendi (Autumn), her stepsons Robert D. Everly II and his wife Nova (Novelyn, Robert III, James), James Goursolle (Joshua, Sean), her stepdaughters Rebecca Enderton and her husband Jimmy (Jeffrey, Phyllip, Sara), Roxann Anskate, Aimée Everly (Amaury, Léanne), as well Ten Great Grandchildren, and very sadly missed by all nieces and nephews.
Faith was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert, parents Harry Earl Stobart Sr. and Martha Stobart, her brother Harry “Bud” Stobart Jr., her sisters Carole Karaisz and Darla Hineman, her stepson Phillipe Goursolle and stepdaughter Crystal Marie Everly, and mother-in-law, Flora “Dolly” Baker and father-in-law, Robert W. Everly, sisters-in-law Roberta “Bert” Everly, Mary “Sis” Cataldi and Sandra Reed, and brothers-in-law Norman Everly, William Everly, and Frank Kirsopp II.
Friends will be received on Friday, February 10th from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm at the SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 11 am until the time of service at 2 pm with Reverend Collene Carney. Private interment will take place at a later date in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
The family has suggested memorial contributions be made in Faith’s memory to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
