Florence E. Mosholder, 85, of Freedom, formerly of Monaca, passed away peacefully with her husband, Loren, by her side on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver.Born on February 2, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Sarah Richardson. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Monaca, where she served on countless committees, including Meals on Wheels. Florence worked at K-Mart in Rochester and Cranberry Township from where she retired with 25 years of service. A former Salvation Army volunteer, she enjoyed reading, gardening and growing flowers, watching Jeopardy and old movies, especially ones that featured Bette Davis.Florence is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, Loren Mosholder; a daughter, Nancy Wichryk of Beaver Falls; a son, Michael (Tammy) Skiles of Monaca; a daughter-in-law, Sue Schofield also of Monaca; a step-son, Loren (Cindy) Mosholder, Jr.; six grandchildren, Jennifer Wichryk, Stephanie Skiles, Samantha (Dan) DeDominicis, Isaac Schofield, Phaedra Agers and Nathan Schofield and two step-grandchildren, Hannah and Kayla, along with a special sister-in-law, Mary George, and many nieces and nephews. She was also blessed with 12 great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her husbands, Casey Schofield and Earl Skiles; a son, Daniel Schofield; a daughter, Sandra Baker; two brothers, Fred and Ron and two sisters, Dolores Russo and Elaine Skiles.Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 819 Washington Avenue, Monaca. Her pastor, Rev.
