Floyd A. Molter, Sr., 82, of Freedom passed away on Sunday, May 14th at UPMC Passavant, McCandless Twp. surrounded by his family as he went to be with the Lord.
He was born and raised in Freedom and was the son of the late James L. and Annie (Isenberg) Molter. Floyd had a strong work ethic and currently worked in Maintenance at Residence Inn in Cranberry. Floyd loved spending time with his cherished grandkids and enjoyed hunting locally and fishing at Lake Erie.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 47 years, Alva Molter, his children Floyd Molter, Jr., Ellie Ball, Mary Gurthie, Sharon Molter, Ethel Lathem and Carol Holster, his grandchildren Kristy Ball, Alexis Prosek, John and Marah Ball, Floyd Molter III, Amber and Holley Molter, Bridget Helbling, Kelly Brinker, Brianna and Chloe Latham and Randy Lytle. A grandson in law, Tyler Prosek. Great-Grandchildren, Kinsley and Hudson Prosek and Beckett Helbling, his siblings Walter, John, Roy, Jimmy and Margaret Molter and Shirley Homitz.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Anna Molter, a son-in-law, John Ball, Sr. his siblings Viola Miller and Clarence Molter.
