Frank Oriskovich, 96, of Hopewell Township, formerly a longtime resident of Coraopolis, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2015, at home.Born April 8, 1919, in Moon Township, he was a son of the late Mike and Teresa (Peran) Oriskovich. A World War II veteran, Frank served proudly served with the US Army, stationed in Alaska. He was employed in the construction trades and was involved with the production of the former Greater Pittsburgh Airport. Later he found employment with the maintenance department at Carnegie Towers Apartments, retiring in his 80’s.He leaves a son, Frank S. Oriskovich (Cindy) of Hopewell Township; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.A widower, Frank was preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Ramsey and Nancy Dobrowlski; a son, Robert and two grandsons.Per Mr. Oriskovich’s wishes there will be no visitation.
