George Daniel Kovach, 63, of Downingtown, PA, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015.Born December 29, 1951, in Fairfield, California, he was the son of Margaret E. (Shaner) Kovach and the late George E. Kovach. He was married 13 years to the late Anne Marie (Pleskovic) Kovach. George was a gifted writer and poet who worked numerous jobs at Renaissance Faires, theaters, and schools. He’s written numerous pieces of work that received special recognitions and awards. In 2006 George was bestowed with an Ambassadorship for literature by Oxford University in Cambridge, England. There he got to share his literary gift with the world. Other awards included Man of the Year, and an International Peace Prize for literature. George is survived by twin daughters, Aria Kovach, and Aura Kovach, both of Downingtown, mother, Margaret E (Shaner) Kovach, of Beaver, sister, Margie (Kovach) Campbell, and her husband Donald, of Monaca, brother, Jerry Kovach, and his wife Melissa, of Rural Valley, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, his good friend Hedy Strauss of Morrisonville, NY, and cat, Squeaker.
