Georgean Rose Carter (Smith), 62, of Hookstown (Raccoon Township), passed away on May 29, 2018 after a long battle with cancer.A 1974 graduate of Hopewell High School, Georgean served in the US Navy as a personnel clerk during the Vietnam War.She leaves her husband, Bruce A. Carter, a son, Eric (Kortney) Smith, a daughter, Jessica (Thomas) Faessel, and two grandchildren; Alexis and Braden.Friends will be received on Friday, June 1st from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca with full military honors performed by the Beaver County Special Unit at 6:00 pm.To share online condolences, get directions and other information, please visit simpsonfuneralhome.com.
