Geraldine Ann (Miller) Gormley, 78, of Raccoon Township, formerly of Beaver, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 1, 2016. Her passing occurred at her residence.Born March 27, 1938, in New Martinsville, WV, she was a daughter of the late Merle and Georgie F. (LeMasters) Miller. Raised in Beaver County, Geraldine attended Hopewell High School. On December 10, 1955, she was united in marriage to Homer J. Gormley, who preceded her in death on August 7, 2014. Family was the most important aspect of her life and she was proud to be a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. After her children were grown, Geraldine found employment outside her home. She was a faithful member of Monacrest Free Methodist Church in Monaca.She will be sadly missed by her children, Patricia Fetchin and her husband, Timothy, and Donald Gormley, all of Raccoon Township and James Gormley and his wife, Grace, of Effingham, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Jennifer (Mark) Palmer, Melissa (Charlie) Moss, Ashlee (Tim) Shirley, Leah (Will) Bilbrey, James Gormley, Victoria Gormley, Christina (Clayton) Bledsoe and Jonalyn Gormley; ten great-grandchildren and one expected great-grandson; a sister, Shirley (Fred) Dunn in Michigan, along with numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael, on February 20, 2016; two sisters, Arlene Moody and Imogene Palmer and two brothers, Wilford and Wilbert Miller.Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. Her pastor, Rev.
