Geraldine Grim, 86, of Raccoon Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 7th at Good Samaritan Hospice in Brighton Township.
Geraldine (Gerry) was born in Center Township to Samuel and Esther Stillwagon in 1936. She went to school in Center Township then Aliquippa High School. Gerry has held many jobs including working for J&L Steel where she met her loving husband, Earl J. Grim, of 37 years. They both belonged to Bunker Hill Community Church where Gerry’s father was one of the original members and building contributors.
Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Esther Stillwagon. In addition to her parents, preceded siblings and family are: Anna Stillwagon, Betty Jane Stillwagon, Samuel Stillwagon Junior, J.L. Stillwagon, Etta Engle, Dorothy Phillips, Robert Stillwagon, Richard Stillwagon, and Karen Baker.
Survived by her husband Earl J. Grim, children: Denise Lynn Beatty, David Lee (Connie) McCrory, Daniel Edward (Lisa) McCrory step-children Debbie (Gary) Malick, Sue (Mark) Woodard, Earleen Smith. Siblings, Harriet McDonald and Leroy Stillwagon. Additionally…16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren
Visitation will be held on Sunday December 11th from 1:00-5:00pm at Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services in Monaca.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, December 12th at Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services with Pastor Wayne Taylor from Dora Evangelical Church officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery then a celebration of life will be held at Bunker Hill Community Church fellowship hall.
